Brown will bring his Evidence, A Dance Company to the Hamptons for their 7th annual On Our Toes in The Hamptons Gala poolside cocktail reception which will celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary. The world renowned troupe which recently toured Nigeria, Senegal and South Africa will perform “Ebony Magazine: to a Village”.
Long regarded as the premiere African American cultural event of The Hamptons social season, the gala will also honor Prince Kunle Omilana of Nigeria and his wife Princess Keisha Omilana of for their support and dedication to The Company. “On Our Toes…” will take place at the Watermill, New York home of Gala Co-Chairs The Honorable Bernard H. Jackson and Joyce Mullins-Jackson, newly elected Chairman of the Board of the dance company.
The late afternoon event will feature signature cocktails by Moet Hennessey USA, hors d’oeuvres by Kyle’s, a luxury online auction on CharityBuzz.com, the special performance by Evidence in a beautifully decorated tent and dancing with the dancers.
